Chikungunya : Valneva effectuera des présentations lors de différentes conférences scientifiques de premier plan
Valneva, société spécialisée dans les vaccins, annonce aujourd’hui qu’elle fera des présentations sur le chikungunya, une maladie transmise par les moustiques, durant différentes conférences scientifiques de premier plan organisées au cours du quatrième trimestre 2023.
Lors de l‘IDWeek, la réunion annuelle de l’Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), qui se tiendra à Boston, Massachusetts, Valneva organisera la table ronde « Chikungunya is an Increasing Global Threat : The Need for Better Protection » le 14 octobre 2023 à 18h00 Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
Lors de la réunion annuelle 2023 de l’American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) à Chicago, Illinois, Valneva fera deux présentations sur le chikungunya le 20 octobre 2023 à 11h00 puis à 12h15 Central Daylight Time (CDT). De plus, la Société présentera trois posters: « Clinical evidence on disease burden of the mosquito-borne chikungunya virus (CHIKV): a systematic literature review », « The economic burden of illness of the globally spreading chikungunya virus (CHIKV): a systematic literature review » et « The spread of chikungunya vectors: a potential threat to global health ».
Pendant le World Vaccine Congress Europe qui se tiendra du 16 au 19 octobre 2023 à Barcelone, Espagne, Valneva présentera un poster intitulé « Safety of Live Attenuated Vaccines in Immunocompromised Patients and Pregnant Women: A Systematic Review ».
Lors du congrès annuel de I’International Society of Vaccines à Lausanne, Suisse, Valneva effectuera une présentation sur le chikungunya le 24 octobre 2023 à 09h45 CEST. La Société présentera également deux posters lors de cet événement, dont l’un est intitulé « Dynamic disease transmission model recreating the 2017 Chikungunya virus (CHIKV) outbreak in Anzio, Italy: the impact of vaccination, global warming, and viral importation ».
Enfin, lors du congrès européen de l’International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) qui se tiendra du 12 au 15 novembre 2023 à Copenhague, Danemark, Valneva présentera trois posters intitulés : « Global Burden of Disease Study on Chikungunya : Estimating DALYs and Cost Burden », « A systematic literature review and meta-analysis of clinical chikungunya outcomes » et « Transmission Dynamics and Vaccination Strategies for Chikungunya Virus (CHIKV): An Outbreak Simulation Study in Rome, Italy ».
